How will my order ship?

All orders are shipped by either package service (UPS) or  freight company (LTL) depending on weight and product type.

UPS Shipments

All sample orders and any order that weighs less than 100lbs will ship via UPS Ground, unless otherwise requested. We do not offer shipping to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses. 

We ship all sample orders via UPS Ground. If you want to use your shipping account number to rush your sample, email [email protected]. Please note, a handling fee of $7 will be applied to your sample order if shipped via a different parcel carrier other than UPS.

LTL Freights

Clay Imports uses a third-party LTL shipping service and cannot change certain shipping policies held by said company. Orders that exceed 110 pounds will ship out LTL. 

We do not offer partial shipments for a single order. Your order will ship when the entire order is complete.

We make sure our tile leaves our warehouse in perfect condition by following the below steps.

1. Every piece of tile is inspected by hand for quality assurance.

2. Each box is carefully stacked on a Clay Imports approved sturdy wooden pallet.

3. To protect your tile from weather, every pallet is then covered with a durable heat shrunken film.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a call from the shipping company to schedule a delivery appointment window.

TO ENSURE A SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY, we require onsite contact information (Name and Phone Number)

• Please note that all deliveries are CURBSIDE DELIVERIES. Drivers will usually unload the delivery off of the truck.
• You are responsible for getting your order inside and from the curb. The driver will not take the tile into your home or business.
• Someone must be present to unload and sign for the order. The shipping company will usually call you to arrange a delivery appointment.
